Branch Manager, Mombasa – DBK 3

Job Purpose

The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing the branch to achieve growth and profitability through sales and business development activities to maximize relationship building to achieve the bank’s strategy.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for Appointment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or in a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Registration by any of the following recognized professional bodies: – Associate of Kenya Institute of Bankers, Marketing Society of Kenya, Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Markets Association or any other equivalent.
  • Supervisory course trainings.
  • At least ten years of banking experience minimum of five (5) years in relevant work experience with sound exposure to branch operations, credit management and business development;
  • Knowledge in bank products and services;
  • Proven track record of good branch performance;
  • Excellent understanding of banking industry laws and regulations;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
  • Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.
