Mr. Sammy Chepkwony was appointed as a Director of Development Bank of Kenya Limited on 24th December 2019 and re-appointed on 4th May, 2023.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Moi University and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University.
Mr. Chepkwony has previously worked in senior management positions at Unilever Tea (Kenya) Limited and the Kenya Meat Commission. He has also served as the Chairman of the National Housing Corporation, Chairman of the Tea Research Institute of Kenya, and Chairman of Kericho Water and Sanitation Company.
He has vast experience in operations, multichannel product distribution, and strategic planning and management.
Mr. Chepkwony serves as the Chairperson of the Board Credit Committee and is a Member of the Board Governance & Human Resource Committee.
