Barbara Lunani was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Development Bank of Kenya Limited on 22nd February 2021 and reappointed on 22nd February, 2024.
Barbara holds a Master of Science in Development Finance from Strathmore Business School, a Master of Business and Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB). She is a Certified Public Secretary, an Accredited Governance Auditor, an Ethics, Risk and Compliance Specialist, and a Certified Legal Auditor.
Ms. Lunani currently works as Deputy Director, Partnership Development and Resource Mobilization at Kenya Development Corporation.
She has over fifteen (15) years’ experience working with various organizations, offering development finance advisory, legal advisory, corporate governance, and company secretarial services.
She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya, and the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya.
Ms. Lunani serves as the Chairperson of the Board Finance & Risk Management Committee and is a Member of the Board Credit Committee.
